Legal Counsel

Flex Suisse is the leading provider of flexible staffing solutions in the Legal & Compliance sector in Switzerland, Germany, and Liechtenstein. For one of our clients in the insurance sector, we are currently looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to support its Legal function, with a particular focus on Swiss financial regulatory and supervisory matters.

Insurance | Legal Counsel | temp I asap I 3 months | CHF 120-160k

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice on Swiss financial regulatory and supervisory law matters within a FINMA-regulated institution.
• Support FINMA inspections, investigations, regulatory audits and enquiries, including regulatory document reviews and remediation-related legal work.
• Advise internal stakeholders on Swiss employment law matters and support HR-related legal questions.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, including procurement and supplier contracts.
• Provide legal support on corporate real estate and lease-related matters.
• Assist with internal investigations and compliance-related projects, working closely with business, HR and Compliance stakeholders.

Experience:

• Swiss law degree; Swiss Bar admission is an advantage but not required.
• At least 3-5 years of relevant professional experience, ideally gained within a FINMA-regulated institution, Big Four firm or Swiss law firm.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss financial regulatory and supervisory law, with hands-on experience supporting FINMA inspections, investigations, audits or remediation projects.
• Practical experience in Swiss employment law and commercial contracting is highly desirable.
• Fluent German is essential; French is a strong advantage.
• Based in Switzerland or Liechtenstein.
