Legal Counsel (m/w/x) - ZEISS Group

Full-time in-house legal counsel position based in Oberkochen, Germany, focusing on contract law and corporate matters for a global technology company.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Two legal state examinations or an equivalent international qualification
• 3-5 years of experience in an international law firm or industry
• Strong background in IP, commercial and corporate law, and international contract law
• Knowledge of digital processes and information technologies
• Excellent English (written and spoken)

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Draft, shape, and negotiate contracts (R&D, procurement, sales) in an international setting
• Provide general legal advice to business units, especially on management decisions
• Advise on claim enforcement and defense
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and support implementation of new laws
