Was wir bieten Ihr Profil • Strong academic record, a degree in law and licensed to practice / admitted to the bar in your home jurisdiction • Professional newcomer or 1–2 years’ work experience as a lawyer • Ideally, you have already gained experience abroad and would like to work long-term in Myanmar or Asia • Able to work independently and autonomously, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership of complex and unfamiliar issues, demonstrating initiative, resourcefulness and confidence under limited supervision • Fluent in English (oral and written) with exceptional communication skills and the ability to explain complex legal issues clearly to non-lawyers and provide business-oriented, solution-driven advice • Fast thinker and quick learner, able to quickly adapt to a new legal environment and eager to stay up to date with the evolving legislation in Myanmar • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and client service skills – reliable, flexible, and willing to work beyond regular hours when required to meet client needs, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships • Strong time management and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and deadlines • Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to quickly identify key legal and commercial issues, combined with an entrepreneurial mindset and sound business judgment, as well as a practical, solution-oriented and common-sense approach Preference: • European bar admission (preferably Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, or the Netherlands) • Knowledge of Common Law • Knowledge of Taxation Active in Myanmar since 2013, with a current staff strength of 50, Luther is one of the largest law firms and corporate service providers in Yangon.
